Ca’ Montebello is a historic family-run winery located in Lombardy’s Oltrepò Pavese region, one of Italy’s most important areas for red wines. The estate has been producing wine for centuries, with a legacy deeply tied to the land and traditional grape varieties like Croatina, Barbera, and Uva Rara.

Sangue di Giuda, their most famous wine, is a slightly effervescent sweet wine. It presents an intense bright ruby red color, enriched by violet reflections that capture attention. On the nose, it offers a vinous and intense bouquet, with clear notes of jam evoking raspberry, blueberry, and violet.

This wine pairs beautifully with a variety of desserts such as dry or jam-filled pastries. It also complements fruit salads with strawberries and peaches, spicy cheeses, and roasted chestnuts.
