Capogiro Montelpuciano d'Abruzzo (2022)

Produced by Le Chiantigiane, a large Tuscan cooperative that partners with growers across Italy, the Capogiro bottling focuses on fresh, approachable Montepulciano grown in Abruzzo’s hillside vineyards, an area influenced by both the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine mountains. The name Capogiro translates to “dizziness” or “giddiness,” meant to evoke the wine’s lively, captivating character.

This a well-structured Montepulciano, light-bodied and easy-drinking with earthy and red fruits aromas. The mouth is juicy with gripping tannins, dry herbs, bramble red cherry and a hint of licorice.
