Ontañón Rioja Crianza (2020)

Family-owned for five generations, Ontañón farms high-elevation vineyards in Rioja Oriental's Sierra Yerga Mountains. The combination of mountain-grown fruit, iron-rich soils, and cooling Mediterranean influences yields vibrant, balanced wines with pure fruit, fresh acidity, and a true sense of place.

Ruby red color with great depth and hints of black cherry and violet glints. Complex and spicy on the nose, with balsamic, herbal nuances. Ripe fruit, lactic aromas, soft spices, truffle and mineral notes. A full, balanced attack. It proves flavorsome, meaty and packed with fruity nuances and the style provided by the fine oak-ageing.
